Reconsidering the Internet Routing Architecture

Abstract

We first summarize several of the assumptions of the current interdomain routing architecture. Then we evaluate several alternatives interdomain routing architecture and discuss their potential benefits. Concerning the solutions based on an id/locator separation, we highlight several important requirements.
