
Olivier Bonaventure
Prof. Olivier Bonaventure is a Belgian computer scientist and professor at UCLouvain specializing in computer networking. His research focuses on Internet protocols, transport protocols, and network architecture, with notable contributions to TCP, QUIC, and Internet measurement. He is the founder of the IP Network Laboratory (INL) at UCLouvain and has led several research projects on improving Internet performance and reliability. Bonaventure is also well known for his educational contributions, including the widely used open textbook Computer Networking: Principles, Protocols and Practice.
