Vany Valentin Ingenzi
Hi! I am a second-year PhD student (started Aug 2024) in the INL at UCLouvain, supervised by Olivier Bonaventure.
My research focuses on the energy efficiency of wireless devices from the transport and application protocol point of view. So far, I have worked on the QUIC transport protocol and proposed a mechanism that can reduce client energy consumption during data transfers. Next, I’m investigating how TCP and HTTP transfers can be made more energy-efficient from the client’s perspective. I’m also interested in multipath extensions to QUIC and TCP that leverage multihoming to achieve high throughput, low latency, and resilience.
Prior to my PhD, I got both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from UCLouvain.
